Design Spotlight Master Bath Makeover by Almost Makes Perfect
July 16, 2019We love before and afters and this master bath, designed by Molly Madfis, author of Almost Makes Perfect blog, is no exception. Discover how she turned this dark and rustic space into a bright and modern oasis. We're amazed with the final results and so excited she chose to tile the main floor and shower floor with Bedrosians products, Zenith 2"x6" porcelain tile in the Solar color and Le Cafe 2" porcelain hexagon mosaic in White.
After renovating and redesigning her whole home, the master bath was the last space to remodel. Although many friends and family loved it as is, Molly says it just wasn't her style and didn't match the rest of her updates.
"Now our current master bath is very “nice”, we have a big walk-in shower, nice shower heads, double sinks, for someone else it might be just perfect the way it is. It’s NOT MY STYLE WHATSOEVER AT ALL NOT ONE BIT. But older people love it! My dad's friend was visiting and couldn’t believe i wanted to renovate it after renovating it once before – I was like wait, what, lol, I didn’t renovate it!?! My aunt, my dad, my mom, my mother-in-law have all suggested they like it as is, but I've turned the whole house into my style, it would be pretty strange to keep this room as is at this point." - Molly said.
Below are some images from @almostmakesperfect's Instagram story about the bathroom renovation.

Molly had chosen a different tile for the bathroom floor, but as you may know, not all aspects of a remodel go as planned.
"After a 24 hour panic, I found these gorgeous tiles from Bedrosians that are timeless and the perfect putty color in person. They came on mosaic sheets, so we had to peel them off, and did this parquet pattern which I love so much. Ultimately things always go wrong during renovations, but this worked out for the absolute best!" - Molly said.
